The Singer with a golden voice, Sangeeta Bandyopadhyay, was veritably the most prolific performer at the 75th monthly Baithak Programme of the Pracheen Kala Kendra during its diamond jubilee celebrations today Improvising, she knitted the ingredients of melody and rhythm to bring alive the essence of the raga.Another bandish in raga Hansadhwani was enough to resonate the hall with applause. The superb exposition of Thumri and a Bhajan left the audience spellbound.
